E-Commerce Online shopping transaction size increased by 51.6% in 2012 According to iResearch the online shopping transaction size for Q2 was 268.37 billion yuan. That is an increase of 51.6% compared to the same period last year. Food and shoes have the highest monthly growth rate of orders with 36.7% and 21.6%. E-Commerce Nearly 7-Fold Increase Of Taobao Mobile E-Commerce Turnover Chinese company iResearch's 2012 Q2 report about the mobile e-commerce market shows, that the market size has reached 11.64 billion RMB, which is a year-on-year growth of 487.9%. E-Commerce Electrical Appliances E-Commerce Price War Just A Gimmick? It's now the sixth day in the B2C price war of the electrical appliance suppliers 360buy, Suning & Gome. Although Baidu stats show that the traffic to 360buy has almost increased to the 13-fold since the war has started, the sales aren't really going up. A survey has shown that more than half of the users think that the price war "is not true". 360buy claims that they will soon lower the prices in all their categories....

E-Commerce Is The E-Commerce Price War Fake? This week, Chinese e-commerce store 360buy has declared a price war on home appliance e-tailers Suning and Gome, promising that they will sell everything cheaper than their competitors. Interestingly, price comparison platform eTao.com has published a chart, that shows that amazon.cn is currently the cheapest supplier of electrical appliances, followed by Gome, whereas 360buy is only in 4th place.
